NautobotGPT Launches Globally at AutoCon, ONUG, and Cisco Live

From Vision to Victory: Launching NautobotGPT Across the Globe

When it came time to introduce NautobotGPT to the world, we knew we wanted to create strong momentum and broad visibility. We had a new AI-powered tool designed to simplify and accelerate Nautobot adoption, shorten time-to-value, and empower network engineers through natural language interaction—and we were excited to share it. To meet the moment, we launched NautobotGPT across three major events, on two different continents, over just a few weeks.

What followed was a showcase of team excellence, industry recognition, and an overwhelming response from the global networking community. Here’s how it all went down.

AutoCon 3: Commanding the Network Automation Stage in Prague

First stop: AutoCon 3 in Prague, a five-day marathon of innovation that’s fast becoming the go-to global conference for network automation. We divided and conquered, and the results speak for themselves.

  • Two sold-out workshops led by Christian Adell and Nikos Kallergis packed rooms with automation practitioners eager to dive into CI/CD pipeline integration and design-driven automation.
  • Christian also delivered a highly praised session on design-driven automation.
  • Jason Edelman closed the conference with a keynote that traced the evolution of network automation, from its early roots to the current AI-powered future. He emphasized the evolving skillset of modern network engineers, highlighting the growing importance of fluency in Git, Python, APIs, and development tools like IDEs.
  • We wrapped things up with a packed after-hours social at a local brewery—so popular we raised the RSVP limit four times!

Big thanks to the entire Prague team, especially Federico Olivieri and Chris Murray, who poured countless hours into making this a truly standout showing for Network to Code.

ONUG Spring 2025: A Standing Ovation for NautobotGPT

Seven time zones away, ONUG Spring in Dallas became the official launch pad for NautobotGPT—and what a launch it was.

We kicked things off with an exclusive executive dinner where we previewed NautobotGPT to a select group of customers and industry leaders. The response was electric. From there:

  • Brad Haas (Network to Code) and Matt Schwen (Humana) delivered a powerful keynote titled “AI and Network Automation: There and Back Again – Accelerating Network Operations with NautobotGPT.” Together, they unveiled NautobotGPT and shared how it’s transforming day-to-day operations at Humana, one of our early adopter customers.
  • Tim Schreyack gave a deep dive into the future of AI agents in Nautobot during our Triple-T session: “Supercharging Nautobot with AI-The Next Frontier in Network Automation.”
  • We hosted a sold-out workshop on “Using APIs for Network Engineers” with Taylor Dawson and Josh Vanderaa.
  • Over 60 booth conversations, more than a dozen demos, and meaningful engagement with enterprise customers.

And the cherry on top?  Winning two awards at the event!
🏆 Best in Show – New Networking Product
🏆 Community Advocate Award (for the third time running!)

A huge shoutout to Alexis Loyd for her unmatched energy—bringing in nearly a third of our 29 registered guests and engaging with more customers than we could count—and to Peter Allocca, Bob Mroz, and the rest of the ONUG crew for the outstanding execution.

Cisco Live 2025: Advancing NautobotGPT and the Network Source of Truth Conversation

With barely time to catch our breath, we brought the NautobotGPT and network automation story to Cisco Live! in San Diego, reinforcing our message and expanding our reach.

  • We teamed up with RedHat to co-present at their booth, demonstrating how Nautobot + Ansible delivers scalable, intelligent automation that’s both flexible and easy to adopt.
  • We ran dozens of demos across Nautobot and NautobotGPT, engaging with hundreds of engineers, decision-makers, and ecosystem partners.
  • A major story at Cisco Live! was the widespread recognition that a Network Source of Truth is needed for scalable automation success.  This is a significant change from last year, and reinforces the role of Nautobot as a central part of any automation tech stack.
  • The result: enthusiastic response, deeper interest in integration possibilities, and follow-on meetings already booked.

Our success at Cisco Live! was made possible by the dedication and drive of our incredible team. Their energy, professionalism, and persistence carried through four intense days filled with conversations, demos, and customer interactions. From engaging booth visitors to coordinating follow-ups, every team member helped amplify our presence and reinforce our view that network automation is a core enabler of operational success.

From Launch to Leadership: How NautobotGPT Is Reshaping Network Automation

What we’ve seen over the last month isn’t just the successful rollout of a new product—it’s confirmation that NautobotGPT has struck a nerve in the market. Across Prague, Dallas, and San Diego, one message came through loud and clear:

The future of network operations is AI-augmented, automation-driven, and anchored by a reliable Network Source of Truth.

Network to Code is leading that future—with Nautobot, with NautobotGPT, and with the incredible people who made this launch possible.

Conclusion

What’s Next?

With this multi-event launch behind us, the path forward is clear: simplifying and accelerating the adoption of Nautobot with NautobotGPT, growing our enterprise customers, and continuing to define what network automation looks like in the AI era.
