Engagement Managers work with a broad range of clients and are accountable for successful project execution across Agile, milestone-based, and hybrid delivery models. They help clients achieve the business outcomes expected from their network automation initiatives.

The Engagement Manager will collaborate with Network to Code delivery teams while owning project execution across scope, budget, timeline, risk, staffing, and customer expectations to ensure successful delivery outcomes. They will build broad client relationships, especially at the stakeholder level. This role reports to the Director of PMO.

A day in the life

Plan, coordinate, and drive project execution across Agile, milestone-based, and hybrid delivery models. A project team typically consists of an Engagement Manager, Managing Consultants, Network Automation Engineers, and/or Learning and Development Instructors.
Continually measure and monitor client satisfaction and health of the initiatives. Proactively identify issues and coordinate with project teams to remediate issues as they are identified.
Own project execution across scope, budget, timeline, staffing, and customer expectations.
Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, forecasts, risks, dependencies, and change requests to ensure delivery commitments are met.
Navigate complex customer environments, coordinating across technical teams, business stakeholders, governance groups, and executive leadership.
Deliver executive-level project updates that clearly communicate progress, risks, blockers, dependencies, and actions requiring stakeholder attention.

Strong project management skills including scope management, budget ownership, forecasting, risk management, dependency management, and executive stakeholder communication.
Ability to influence and drive alignment across technical teams, customer stakeholders, and executive leadership without direct authority.
A natural organizer, able to bring structure to chaos, promotes reusability and efficiency.
A motivated self-starter, independently overcomes obstacles to realize stated objectives.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate diverse technical and customer stakeholders.
Flexible and resilient, able to prioritize competing demands and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

What you have

Minimum 5 years of experience leading customer-facing technical projects or professional services engagements.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong presenting, listening, and comprehension skills.
Experience using project delivery and reporting tools such as Jira, forecasting systems, collaboration platforms, and executive reporting mechanisms.
Experience working with large enterprise organizations and navigating complex stakeholder environments preferred.
