As a Platform Engineer, you will lead the charge on our Nautobot Cloud software, driving the development, deployment, and support of critical network automation solutions. Collaborating closely with project teams, you’ll shape the future of Nautobot Cloud, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our roadmap and client requirements.
A day in the life
- Develop, deploy, and support Nautobot Cloud using Python and Django.
- Collaborate with the community and project teams to understand Nautobot App (plugin)
requirements.
- Participate in daily standups and Agile ceremonies, thriving in an Agile environment.
- Track project progress, identify and resolve any delays, and adopt new technologies seamlessly.
What you bring

- Proficiency in Python and Django, with a keen focus on project management.

- Confidence and decisiveness in moving projects forward.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.
What you have
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Extensive background in system administration and incident response
- Proven track record in GitOps-based infrastructure management
- Preferred experience with Django, Terragrunt, and Ansible
- Strong preference for Agile-focused teams and familiarity with Gruntworks Reference Architecture
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of scalable solutions leveraging AWS services.
- Engineer robust back-end software solutions to model infrastructure effectively.
- Lead the evolution of automation architecture, optimizing scalability and sustainability.
- Collaborate closely with product managers to align value with cost-to-implement.
- Utilize Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, and more to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Foster collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams and thrive in a remote work environment.
