Welcome to our monthly Nautobot community update! We’ll dive into the latest updates across the Nautobot community, highlighting the key milestones, releases, and noteworthy contributions. From new features and enhancements to bug fixes and events, there’s always something happening in our dynamic ecosystem. Open source is at the core of our values, empowering individuals and organizations to collaborate, innovate, and make a positive impact together. - #6998 – Added browser and backend caching for
/api/swagger
openapi endpoint to speed up Swagger and Redoc loading time. - #7115 – Added bulk edit support for the Relationship model.
- #7127 – Added bulk edit support for the ExportTemplate model.
- #7134 – Added bulk edit support for the Manufacturer model.

Apps Ecosystem
The new DNS models app has been released. It’s available on GitHub and PyPI. See the documentation for more information on this new Nautobot app.

- Increased the supported versions of the httpx dependency.
- Cookiecutter Nautobot App: nautobot-app-v2.5.0 – 2025-04-25
- Nautobot App Device Lifecycle Mgmt: v3.0.1 – 2025-04-24
- Fixed a bug in the migrations introduced in version 3.0.0 that could prevent Nautobot from starting for certain combinations of DLM objects.
- Nautobot App Device Lifecycle Mgmt: v3.0.0 – 2025-04-03
- Device Lifecycle Management App version 3.0 now supports these core Nautobot models: SoftwareVersion, SoftwareImageFile, and Contact. Please see the release notes and the v3 migration guide for more information.
- Nautobot App Floor Plan: v2.8.0 – 2025-04-18
- This release enhances navigation and usability within the Floor Plan app. Objects associated with tiles now include a “View on Floor Plan” button for quicker context switching.
- Grid labels have been improved with clickable links, allowing users to filter directly into the Rack Elevation view based on their grid position.
- Several bug fixes improve the user experience, including dark mode compatibility, tab persistence on form validation errors, and proper rendering of markdown bullets in documentation.

- Added prefix_location module.

- #326 – Added testing for cable termination type when adding cables to diffsync store.
- #340 – Added Aruba AOSCX support for Sync Devices from Network Job.
- #278 – Optimized VLAN loading into diffsync from Nautobot.
- #278 – Improved error handling when creating VLANs.
- #326 – Fixed incorrect call to cable termination type.
- #337 – Fixed logging call from an invalid path to the correct one.
- #346 – Fixed Juniper IP addresses not syncing secondary IP addresses.
- Nautobot App SSoT: v3.6.0 – 2025-04-05
- Removed support for Python 3.8.
- Features added to the Bootstrap and DNA Center integrations.
- Multitude of bug fixes and tweaks made to the project. See the release notes for more details.
- Nautobot App SSoT: v1.6.5 – 2025-04-02
- Pynautobot: v2.6.2 – 2025-04-04
- Fixed parameters parsing for secrets.
- Nautobot App DNS Models: v1.0.0 – 2025-04-04
- This is the first public and stable version of the DNS models app, which adds specific DNS related models for managing DNS zones and records to Nautobot. The goal is to be able to manage a DNS configuration for a zone or sub-zone. These models can then be leveraged with 3rd party IPAM or DNS services in line with the rest of your network data.
